So Bad It's Good

United States
Feature Film
Just cause!
It’s called “Triggered” for a reason. Genders mean nothing, here, you Neanderthal. Ever heard of culture appropriation, mother fucker? This stuff is offensive, yo! Have you checked your privileges, recently? If you’re a man, you’re already spilling your toxic masculinity all over this review. If you’re cisgender, go fuck yourself! Admit it, the 80’s were simpler. They were innocent. They were fun.
Meet one of the most despicable protagonists in film history. Her name is Callee, and she has, like, one friend. He’s nonnormative and shit. She’s a lesbian. Sometimes. She has a huge cleavage, but don’t you dare look at it! Point is, she’s slowly losing it. No one likes her. She’s a nutcase. Give her a creepy mask and she’ll kill 80% of the population, just cause.
This is not a movie that celebrates difference, but it’s not for the Bible Belt either. It’s for those in between who can laugh about it all. The only problems with this film are technical. The budget is obviously small, and the editing isn’t as good as it could be. The audio isn’t always on point. The darkest scenes are too dark. Anyway, if you aren’t easily triggered, see this little gem!

Included in this book are 141 reviews of horror-adjacent films. Horror-adjacent films are mixes of comedy, drama, adventure, action, thriller, fantasy, and science fiction. They are dark enough to entertain horror movie fans but can’t exactly be called horror. How many have you seen?
