Robert Englund, now missing an arm and a leg, reprises his role from Lake Placid 4. Yancy Butler, also from the Lake Placid franchise, returns for the third time. They are the more serious part of the cast and handle the procedural. A bunch of innocent stereotyped but somehow relatable sorority girls on vacation take care of the lighter half of the script. They are here to party, scream and die.
This shouldn't be taken seriously. It is an on and off comedy, but it is always light in tone. With its occasional boob shot and some of the worst dialogue ever written in either franchises, this production is a nothing more than an inside joke disguised as a teen slasher. The monsters are a big letdown visually, so enjoy all the human skin and the slim character exposition while you can!
The story starts with scientists justifying why a giant crocodile and a mutated anaconda need to be confined in the same room. This turns out to be a bad idea when the crocodile awakens and wreaks havoc. Our creatures escape and so is born one of the most ludicrous cross-over horror film of all times! This movie is not as terrible as its title, but it is certainly not a masterpiece.
