A stitch up of all Puppet Master movies
Aside from new footage of a thief looking for the secret to eternal life and threatening a puppeteer with a gun inside a small room, nearly every other scene and shot is taken from a previous Puppet Master movie and roughly inserted in using rough editing a student could come up with. This is a new low in this collection and it’s less than passable. It is sadly Full Moon Picture’s new standard.
The wrap-around story is nothing more than a vessel to make these editing shenanigans feel more legit. It’s nothing more than cash-grabbing and it’s a shame. The resulting story isn't cohesive and the cheat doesn't even manage to fool the audience. It’s simply unforgivable. The main plot is as linear as it can be and it’s the best part about it all, which isn't saying much.
People do not want to pay twice for the same product, but here they do. If you made it so far into the franchise, then you've already seen this movie. If you haven’t, then you’ll be completely lost. It’s not just the worst Puppet Master movie so far; it’s actually not much of a movie to start with. Rehash is a bad habit and Full Moon is getting addicted to it. Money talks!
